The College of Graduate Studies is discussing a master’s thesis on ((study of biochemical markers to predict liver cirrhosis in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C)).

The Faculty of Graduate Studies within the Southern Technical University discussed a master’s thesis on: ((Biopathological study to predict liver cirrhosis in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C)) for graduate student (Mustafa Salman Hassan Yassin) Department of Pathological Analysis Techniques at the Faculty of Health and medical technologies.Study content: Hepatitis B and Type C may cause complete cirrhosis of the liver as well as liver cancer. This leads to loss of liver function, and total loss of liver function will cause death. The aim of the study: is to study cirrhosis of the liver in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C by serological biomarkers and to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of these biomarkers, as well as study the association between variables.
The most important recommendations: that there is a clear relationship between cirrhosis of the liver in viral hepatitis B and C with biomarkers, which showed a high evaluation and therefore, by measuring these tests, predict early cirrhosis with high accuracy.
