The College of Health and Medical Technologies holds a technical course on PCR applications.
Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Dawood Salman Mahdi, the Deanship of the College was set up within its scientific activities by holding a training course on PCR applications in the biotechnology laboratory for a period of 3 days, from 9/10 to 12/9/2018. The course was attended by Mr. Dean The college, in turn, the lecturer of the course, Dr. Hussam Saadi Aziz, confirmed that this course is about PCR, which is known as a laboratory technique based on the proliferation of copies of DNA (DNA) outside the biological system, and it has many applications in the field of DNA research, genetics, detection of genetic mutations and determining the genetic fingerprint And microbiology auditing, as it has a vital role in the fields of forensic and forensic medicine, maternity bhtc, and identification.
The Dean of the College said that this is the first course to be held in the newly established biotechnology laboratory that is equipped with the latest laboratory devices in the college, indicating that it witnessed a turnout from the affiliates of both the College of Kunooz and the Technical Institute of Basra.
