His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research inaugurates the Biotechnology Laboratory at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Basra.
Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Al-Issa and the direct supervision of the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, and with continuous efforts and follow-up by the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Dawood Salman Mahdi opened His Excellency the Minister ((Biotechnology Laboratory)) in the College of Health and Medical Technologies in Basra, with the participation of the President of the Southern Technical University and the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Thamer Al-Hamdani, the assistants of the President of the University, deans of colleges and technical institutes, heads of scientific departments and several researchers,The Dean of the College provided a detailed explanation of the laboratory, which includes a number of modern laboratory devices with global origins that benefit researchers and his request for graduate studies, as it will be a tributary to the College of Graduate Studies at the Southern Technical University As well as for unemployed graduates by holding courses that specialize in pathological analyzes to provide them with certificates of practicing the profession, and at the end of the opening, His Excellency the Minister expressed his happiness for the opening of this laboratory and thanked the President of the University for his interest in pursuing such scientific activities and commended the efforts of the Dean of the College and in turn the President of the University presented the Holy Quran as a gift Souvenir for His Excellency the Minister.
